Quilt Block Inlay
We are once again cutting a majority of our own gemstones to complement our designs.
The coming of Winter 2004 turned our thoughts to those wonderful warm quilts our
grandmothers made; some of those squares we have now reproduced as miniature inlayed
gems and set as pendants. Contact us if you have a quilt block you would like replicated
in this manner.

Pinwheel Inlay Pendant
A pinwheel quilt block of blue azurite and conch shell, 1/2 inch square, is set into a
dainty pendant only one inch long (including decorative bail). Inlay is surrounded by
a twisted wire.

Roman Stripes Pendant
A diamond quilt block of the Roman stripe pattern (coral, charoite, and jet) is set
on a sandcast back surrounded by organic drops. Length of inlay: 3/4 inch; pendant length:
1 1/2 inch.

Inlay Quilt Block Pendant
This pendant is an inlayed quilt block of azurite/malachite (mostly green),
coral, and turquoise measuring 3/4 inch on each side. This one is turned on its corner
and set on a diamond-shaped back in a heavy, serrated bezel. It is surrounded
by a ring of tiny flowers. Total length is 1 1/4 inch.
